As part of the Better Business Bureau’s Night of Excellence Award dinner, three areas of corporate and academic excellence are awarded – ethics, customer service and education. The deadline for one of these awards -- BBB Excellence Awards - GE Johnson Ethics – has been extended to Friday, August 17, 2012 by 5;00 p.m. due to the Waldo Canyon Fire.
This prestigious award was created to honor outstanding businesses that have made a commitment to ethical business practices in order to promote and uphold a fair marketplace. Applicants must demonstrate high ethical standards of behavior towards customers, suppliers, users, shareholders, employees and communities in which they do business. They must also prove that they have demonstrated ethical practices surrounding their buyer/seller relationships and have a long-standing history and reputation for ethical practices in the marketplace.
The recipient will be recognized at the Better Business Bureau’s Night of Excellence dinner on Thursday, September 27, 2012, at the Antler’s Hilton in Colorado Springs.
